Riftr uses a small amount of browser storage to remember your collection and keep you signed in. Nothing here is used for advertising or tracking.
1. What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Local storage is a similar space in your browser where a site can keep data on your device. Riftr uses both only to make its features work.
2. Storage set by Riftr
These are kept in your browser’s local storage, not as cookies, and are never used for tracking.
- riftr-vault
- Your collection, watchlist, binders, value history and display settings such as currency.
- riftr-visits
- Prices seen on your last visit, so Riftr can show what moved since then. Stays on your device.
- riftr-scan-tray
- Cards you’ve scanned but not yet added to your collection.
- riftr-account-owner
- Which account the collection in this browser belongs to, so it syncs to the right account. Removed when you sign out.
3. Storage set for sign-in
When you sign in, our authentication provider Privy sets the following to keep you signed in and protect your account:
- privy-token, privy-session
- Cookies that keep you signed in. They expire when your session ends or you sign out.
- privy:token, privy:refresh_token
- Local storage copies of your sign-in session, used to refresh it securely.
- Other privy: keys
- Sign-in state, such as your most recent sign-in method and a device identifier used for security.
- base-acc-sdk.store
- Set by a wallet-connection library included with the sign-in system. Riftr doesn’t use wallets, and it holds no personal information.
4. What we don’t use
Riftr does not use analytics, advertising, social media or other tracking cookies, and no third party tracks you across sites through Riftr.
5. Your choices
Because everything listed here is needed for the features you use, Riftr doesn’t show a cookie banner. You can still remove it all: signing out clears the sign-in storage, and clearing your browser’s site data for Riftr removes the rest.
Clearing site data while signed out deletes the collection stored in your browser. Export it as CSV from Settings first, or sign in so it’s saved to your account.
6. Changes and contact
If we add other cookies, we’ll update this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires it. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information. Questions: legal@riftr.xyz.
