Terms of Service

Last updated October 19, 2026

Please read these terms before using Riftr. They explain what Riftr is, what you can expect from it, and what we expect from you.

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms govern your use of riftr.xyz and its related pages and features (the “Service”), operated by Riftr (“Riftr”, “we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

You can browse Riftr without an account. To create an account you must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to consent to the processing of your personal data where you live; otherwise a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you.

2. What Riftr provides

Riftr is an information tool for Riftbound collectors. It lets you:

  • see card prices, price history and market moves, based on sales data from third-party sources;
  • browse listings from third-party marketplaces;
  • keep track of your own collection, watchlist and binders, and see their estimated value;
  • identify cards with your device’s camera.

Riftr does not sell cards, hold items or money, or take part in any transaction. Listings link to the marketplace that hosts them; anything you buy or sell there is between you and that marketplace or seller, under their terms.

3. Accounts and security

Accounts are optional. Sign-in is provided by our authentication partner, Privy. When you sign in, your collection, watchlist, binders and preferences are saved to your account so you can use them on other devices.

  • Keep your sign-in method (such as your email inbox or social account) secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Your username must not impersonate anyone, including Riftr or Riot Games, and must not be offensive or misleading. We may change or remove usernames that break this rule.
  • Tell us at legal@riftr.xyz if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Prices, values and data

Prices, values, changes and listings on Riftr come from third parties and are estimates. They can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and a card may sell for more or less than Riftr shows. How each figure is calculated is explained on our About & methodology page.

Nothing on Riftr is financial, investment or tax advice, or an offer to buy or sell anything. Collectible values can go down as well as up. Decide for yourself, and check the marketplace before you buy or sell.

5. Acceptable use

When using Riftr, you agree not to:

  • break the law or anyone else’s rights;
  • scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Service or its data, or use its API endpoints, except as normal use of the website allows;
  • overload, probe or interfere with the Service, or try to get around any limit or security measure;
  • access another person’s account or data;
  • use the Service to mislead others about prices or the condition or authenticity of cards.

6. Content and intellectual property

Riftr’s design, code and original text belong to us. Riftbound, its card names and artwork are trademarks and copyrights of Riot Games, Inc. Riftr was created under Riot Games’ “Legal Jibber Jabber” policy using assets owned by Riot Games. Riot Games does not endorse or sponsor this project.

Market data, listings and images from third parties remain the property of their owners. The collection data you enter is yours; you give us permission to store and process it only to provide the Service to you.

7. Third-party services

Riftr links to and relies on services we don’t control, including marketplaces, price data providers and our sign-in provider. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

8. Disclaimers

Riftr is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that the Service will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Keep your own copy of anything important: you can export your collection as CSV from Settings at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data or opportunities, arising from your use of Riftr, including decisions made using its prices. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes, suspension and termination

We may change, pause or stop any part of the Service. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. You can stop using Riftr at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing legal@riftr.xyz.

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed; for significant changes we’ll give notice on the site. Continuing to use Riftr after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. General terms and contact

If any part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. Mandatory consumer rights where you live are not affected.
