The Radiance Overview

TL;DR

This is Riot's overview of Radiance, a music-themed set releasing October 23, 2026. It covers key dates, the new mechanics Deploy, Show Off and Disarm, and the pack contents. Radiance also adds a new Ultimate Rare that is meant to be much harder to find than Unleashed's Baron.

Key points

• Pre-Rifts run October 16–22; release on October 23 in English, French and Chinese
• New mechanics: Deploy (Gear played to a battlefield), Show Off (reveal a card to unlock an effect) and Disarm (reduces an attacker's Might)
• The Ultimate Rare, a showcase Battlefield, appears in about 0.025% of packs on average
• Special alt arts feature K/DA, and there are Heartsteel overnumbers
• Each pack has 14 cards, including one slot that can roll a showcase card
